The latest issue is now available from it's usual outlets and is in the process of being delivered around the dwellings in the village, so watch out for yours dropping through your letterbox
The Audio recording was completed albeit we had a great problem trying hard not to laugh too much (I think we all had our silly heads on that night - we couldn't stop giggling like a lot of school kids) and we hope to have the CD available from Monday 1st March.
Thanks to Simon and Sue for the new "acoustic box" to house our microphone, I think it has definitely improved the sound quality, so a job well done
If you can't wait to hear it then here is the latest podcast for your enjoyment.

Hi All
Well the latest CD is now available and has been delivered to those who take it regularly.
As you probably have read by now our next project is to raise enough funds to purchase a Braille Embosser and associated software, which we believe will cost us in the region of £2.5k.
I am very pleased to report that to date we have raised £1130 towards our target. This breaks down as follows:
1/ £745 from the St Nicholas & Sarre Hoodeners
2/ £355 from Audrey's & Shirley's Charity Dance
3/ £30 donation from an unnamed village Freegler who received a working Satnav from another FreegleThanet member, and gave it by way of a thank you.
So a very big THANK YOU to everyone who has helped to make this such a great start, towards the final total.
We're trying hard now to think of other ways to raise the remainder, so watch this space and the magazine for further details. It has been suggested we do a "Calendar Girls" type calendar, but we're not too sure you'd want to see any of us in the buff !! It has also been suggested we produce a loose leaf Village Cookbook, but that may be stepping on others toes as we know the Salvation Army have done something similar in the past, however it is food for thought and we haven't dismissed the idea as yet, we will probably ask for readers opinions in our next issue.
Hi All
Here we are again with yet another issue for your delight.
Hard copy hit the streets on Saturday and the Audio copy plus ebook files are now available for download - Audio CD should be distributed by Monday 1st Feb
The CD has now been delivered - this has unintentionally become our first 2 disk issue, due to the amount of copy to cover from the magazine. Also the normal musical interludes were substituted with the school choir singing carols, plus the children from Journalist Club wishing all our listeners a very Happy Christmas.
We hope you enjoy it if you have a copy.
See you all again in 2010.
A Very Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year from us all here at Minster Matters.
It's out !!!!!!
The new printed issue has arrived and was distributed today so it should be dropping through your letterboxes over the next few days.
36 pages - 6 in full colour - our biggest and most colourful issue ever !!!!
CD recording was done earlier this week so as soon as it has been edited we will be burning the new disks which will hopefully be delivered around the beginning of next week - work commitments allowing.
Please support the St Nicholas Hoodeners when they visit The Saddler on 21st Dec as the proceeds they raise will be going towards the purchase of a Braille Embosser for us to offer even more services to the village - so pop along and please give generously
Hi All
Magazine went to print this morning, after a few very late nights over the past 3 or 4 days.
The trouble was we had an absolute mountain of items for inclusion that we had to try to whittle down to a manageable amount.
We have opted again for a Christmas Bumper Issue but even so we left out enough to fill another 5 or 6 pages, and it wasn't at all easy deciding what to strike out with the red pen. I've had to agree that we go back to our normal size from February though, so this is just a one off for the holiday period.
We hope you'll enjoy what we have put together, for you. We are hopeful that it should be back with us by Friday ready for distribution
CD has now been distributed and MP3 file is available for download
Don't forget it is also available as mobi, epub, pdc and pdf files for your ebook reader
Hi all
Issue 109 (Nov09) has now "hit the streets" and is also available as a pdf file for download from our website. This month also sees us making our first offering of 4 further file formats for ebook readers, those being, epub, mobi, pdc and pdf (Note: this pdf file is different from the usual one)
The MP3 file and CD should be available in the next day or so and we'll repost here when that happens.
Have a good month.
MM Team
Latest issue has now gone to print - look out for colour centre section this month !!
We are also branching out into the realms of Ebook Readers (NO we're not supplying them to residents, nor are we purchasing any) with the introduction of the magazine now becoming available in 4 of the most popular ebook formats (MOBI - EPUB - PDB - PDF). NOTE: This PDF version is different to the normal PDF version that we still offer.
Hopefully the new issue will be available by the end of this week - so watch out for it coming through a letter box near you !!
Hi Folks

Issue 106 has now "hit the streets" and has been well received in its new colour cover.
The pdf file is available for download but the MP3 for the podcast isn't as yet completely edited so we'll post again when this is available.
This issue covers the possibility of Yellow Lines around the village, it also has a colour centre spread showing images of the Flower Show and Open Gardens, and an article on the 1841 Census which is a quite interesting read.
Still nothing from KCC Libraries regarding office space, but we haven't given up hope as yet.
Hi Folks
The July issue has gone off to the printers today (24hrs late) but we are still hopeful that we will get it back for the weekend for distribution
Audio CD is being recorded tomorrow so that too should be ready over the coming weekend
The magazine is being printed by another company this month so we’ll have to wait and see what the quality is like, hopefully as good as we have now, but time will tell.
The June CD was late in going out due to a lack of ink in the printer, but that's now been sorted and they have been distributed.
On a different note we have uploaded the pictures Diane (Snappy) and Ray (Editor) took on their recent trip up the tower at St Mary's Church, see the link in the 'Pages' menu on the right titled 'Minster from St Mary's' where you'll find 112 images for your perusal.
